I don't know if any of you have ever left the world of Microsoft and
touched linux, but its been some kind of fun for me. Lately, I
found this site about putting
linux on my Gamecube.
Well, there's a little trick to it. You need a broadband adapter
and a copy of Phantasy Star Online. I got these for like $25 with
my ebay skillzizzles. (was costing other folks twice as much with
their biddings)
Anyway, it sends the linux program over the network instead of the
patch that Phantasy Star is trying to download from the internet.
Fooling the game into running linux. I can use it to play movies
off my computer or super nintendo roms or mp3s or other stuff, I
dunno. I wish I could get the keyboard to work with it though, as
it is, I'm just typing commands to it from my computer. If the
keyboard was working I'd play
Medievia on it. Yeah, I play Muds with my
favorite person now.
Also I'm starting school soon at
AnimationMentor.com. I'll be learning to animate with
Maya from some of the top pros in the industry. I'm getting anxious to start. I have another
blog
that will cover my adventures at the school. I also want to
update the rest of my site to display my animation and such.
